Decoking Hose with Multiple High Tensile Steel Cables Reinforcement

Decoking hose can be used to unload coke safely.

Decoking hose is mainly used to unload the coke which is one of the by-products in oil refining. Coke is stored in silos until it is loaded into railroad cars for shipment. Decoking hose is composed of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover. Tube is made from synthetic rubber which is resistant to abrasion, corrosion and oil. Reinforcement is made from multiple layers of high tensile steel cables which makes decoking hose work well in the environment of very high pressure. The cover is made from synthetic rubber which is resistant to corrosion, ozone, weather and abrasion.

The details of decoking hose:

• Structure: decoking hose is composed of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover.
  • Tube: resistant to abrasion, corrosion and oil synthetic rubber, primarily nitrile rubber.
  • Reinforcement: multiple layers of high tensile steel cables.
  • Cover: resistant to abrasion, corrosion, weather and ozone synthetic rubber, principally NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber).
• Inner diameter: 3" - 4" (76.2mm - 101.6mm).
• Outside diameter: 4.6" - 6.5" (117.09mm - 164.59mm).
• Working pressure: 34.5MPa - 51.7MPa (5000psi - 7500psi).
• Test pressure: 69.0MPa - 103.5MPa (10000psi - 15000psi).
• Min burst pressure: 86.2MPa - 129.3MPa (12500psi - 18750psi).

Our advantage:

• The working pressure of drilling hose is designed based on the maximum working pressure of drilling machine. The minimum burst pressure of drilling hose is 2.5 times as high as the working pressure. Therefore, even though the pump breaks down, the drilling hose will not burst.
• The tube of drilling hose is made from nitrile rubber, which can prevent the oil-based mud from permeating out of hose leading to the hose damage in the process of conveying the oil-based mud.
• Our drilling hose is manufactured with integral connectors and the connectors are resistant to pull-off, which can avoid the connectors falling off and hurting the workers in the process of pressure test. And this feature improves the pressure resistance and safety performance of drilling hose greatly.
