Heavy Duty Oil Suction and Discharge Rubber Hose for Offshore Drilling Uses

Heavy duty oil suction and discharge hose is a flexible suction and discharge hose designed to handle brine, crude oil, mild chemicals, petroleum waste, sediments, sludge, slurries and water in harsh oil field bottom sediment and waste pit recovery applications. The corrugated hose construction incorporates a dual steel wire helix that provides full suction capability, flexibility, kink resistance, and a path to conduct a static electrical charge to ground. The nitrile/SBR cover is resistant to abrasion, oil and weathering.

Note: Not recommended for refined petroleum products such as gasoline! Not for use with biofuels.

Applications

Applied to offshore drilling and other applications where requires high working pressure. Cover is designed corrugated for greater flexibility.

Structure

• Inner Tube: Black, smooth, nitrile compound.
• Reinforcement: A 4-ply high-tensile synthetic textile with a dual steel wire helix.
• Cover: Black, smooth (wrapped finish) high grade chloroprene rubber, compounded for an excellent resistance to weather, ozone, abrasion and oil.
• Length of Coil: 61 meters (200 ft) continuous length; other length available on request.
• Temperature Range -40 °C to +82.2 °C
• Branding: Red transfer tape with negative text.
